Overview
WhatExpired.com helps you track medicines at home and receive expiry reminders. We collect only the data needed to operate this service.
Data We Collect
We collect account data (name, email, password hash or Google sign-in identity), medicine inventory data, cabinet membership details, reminder settings, and limited security and technical data needed to operate the service. Please avoid adding medical information that is not needed for household inventory tracking.
How We Use Data
We use your data to provide login, store your cabinet, show expiry statuses, and send reminder emails.
Shared Cabinets
People you invite to a shared cabinet can view and change its medicine records and can see the names and email addresses of other cabinet members. Only invite people you trust.
Analytics
When enabled, Google Analytics uses cookies or similar identifiers to measure visits and product usage. You can accept, decline, or change this choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. Analytics remains off until you accept. We do not sell personal data.
Service Providers
We use service providers for hosting and databases, transactional email, bot protection, optional Google sign-in, and analytics. They process only the information needed to provide those services under their own security and privacy obligations.
Data Retention
We retain data while your account is active or as required for security, legal, and operational reasons.
Your Choices and Rights
You can disable reminder emails in Settings and download a copy of your account and cabinet data there. To request correction or deletion, or exercise privacy rights available where you live, contact us using the address below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, but no service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your credentials private.
